Why Shoot Airguns?

These are not the pellet guns you remember from your youth!

Today’s modern airguns provide the shooter with unrivaled levels of performance.

From a pest control standpoint they offer several advantages over traditional firearms.

1-They are quiet!

2-They are powerful!

3-They are accurate!

Modern PCP rifles come in a variety of calibers. We use .22 and .25 caliber rifles for pest control work. These rifles produce between 30 and 50 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle and are capable of humane kills of pest animals at long ranges.

Some models feature adjustable power to facilitate fine tuning.

Today’s pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airguns are often equipped with a moderator or a shrouded barrel. Both technologies work to reduce the sound the rifle makes when it fires.

The the impact of a pellet shot from a well tuned PCP is louder than the report at the barrel, meaning they can be fired in barns and in close proximity to cows and other animals without disturbing them.

The accuracy of a modern PCP rifle has to be experienced to be appreciated. At 30-50 yards you should expect a 10 shot group to be a single ragged hole. A good shooter can shoot 1 inch groups at 100 yards.

With match-grade triggers, regulated air supplies and expertly machined barrels our rifles share the DNA of precision Olympic rifles.
